Shadowman looms over Valiant this November as Justin Jordan and Patrick Zircher team up to bring this character back to life. In light of the strong response of Harbinger, X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, and the upcoming Archer and Armstrong, Valiant brings another icon of the line back to prominence. Considering Shadowman has been one of the most highly requested characters to bring back, this is a good choice.

I honestly haven’t read much of Shadowman though I now feel I should just to be up to date with the character. Considering that Justin Jordan wrote Strange Talent of Luther Strode, which was one of my favorite series of the year, I’m interested in seeing where he takes the character. From the preview pages that I’ve seen Patrick Zircher’s work looks better than ever.

This November I know I’ll be in line to see what this revival of Shadowman has in store for me. A good creative team, highly anticipated character, variant covers by acclaimed artists Dave Johnson and Bill Sienkiewicz, and that adds to this exciting announcement.. Valiant has made a splash this year and Shadowman seems ready to continue the trend. At this point I can only imagine what 2013 holds for Valiant, if its anything like this year has been, I can’t help but be excited.
