Looks like in the wake of the Aurora, Colorado shooting, there’s another change in the works for a Batman project. The upcoming Beware the Batman animated series, set to debut for the DC Nation block next year, is going to have some small alterations to the series. Mainly in the ways guns are depicted within the series. Instead of the more realistic type of guns, now the series is going to use a less realistic style of weaponry to distance itself from the shooting.
From the announcement of the delay of Batman Incorporated #3 last week, now another Batman related project is being tweaked with. The initial word is that Sam Register, the executive producer of Beware the Batman, is the one wanting these changes and not as much a corporate decision. At this point I am very curious how Batman’s depiction within mass media is going to be handled from here on out.

This one caught my attention. Makes me wonder the future adaptations of Batman and how they’re going to be handled.
