Mobage, creator of “Rage of Bahamut”, has announced the release of their next game for both the Android and iOS called “Marvel: War of Heroes”. This new game allows the player to construct their own team of heroes via a deck of digital cards. It will debut hundreds of Marvel’s heroes and villians that you can choose from and battle with. 

“War of Heroes” is a single player campaign that has an original story line, and “puts players in the perspective of a lone hero”. As you move through the game, the perspective will switch from one hero to the next, such as Spider-Man or Thor. “War of Heroes” also comes with some neat features such as a ranking system, guilds and a PVP mode. 

Additionally, if you manage to collect the same hero over and over, you can combine them to make them more powerful and you can even use S.H.I.E.L.D technology to “boost the odds by evolving and fusing their hero’s powers”. As another bonus, you can even unlock special combos by combining certain characters together in the same deck - such as Black Widow and Captain America - allowing you to get a boost. 

Finally, there is a rare, secret promo card that’s available if you register pre-launch here. When the game arrives, just enter your code into the game. 

Artists like Sana Takeda and Adi Granov will be completing the art for “War of Heroes”. 

“Marvel: War of Heroes” is developed by ngmoco:) in San Francisco and will launch in late 2012.
