Although it’s been almost two years since the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World video game was released on XBLA and PSN, Ubisoft has chosen to release a new piece of DLC for the game.  On August 19^th, all those who own the game will be able to download a new character, Wallace Wells, as well as access to the addition of online multiplayer.  Originally, the game only had the ability for on the couch co-op, which is was a great time, but I had a few friends in other cities that I would’ve liked to play this game with.  Better late than never I guess.

It is sort of weird to release a piece of content this far after the game’s release, but with the addition of a new character, it might be enough to get you to go back and play this again.  I am a little surprised at the price of the DLC ($5 or 400 MSP) seeing as the first DLC pack was priced at $2, but for a new comer to the game, paying less than $20 for everything the game has to offer is not too bad at the end of the day.  Be sure to pick this up on August 19^th on XBLA or PSN.  Or both…I understand money spending is fun.
