Recently, Vin Diesel churned the rumor mill after posting several pictures of Vision - an android with human brain patterns who shoots fire energy from his eyes “and manipulates his density to achieve a diamond-hard strength and invulnerability or a ghostly intangibility that also allows flight”. 

Whether it’s a ploy to get Whedon to consider Diesel for the Avengers sequel or not is left to be seen, but he [Vin Diesel] later removed a picture from his Facebook revealing only his eyes, captioned “true Vision”.

To see Vin Diesel play in a hero movie would be profoundly interesting, especially when compared to other actors - like Downey - who seem to fit into their roles like a second skin. This isn’t to suggest that Diesel is a bad actor, but is he the best? I suppose we’ll find out finalized plot and cast as we draw closer to the 2015 release date.
