ABC has greenlit the S.H.I.E.L.D pilot set within Marvel’s Avengers movie universe. S.H.I.E.L.D’s pilot will be written by Joss Whedon, his brother Jed, and Melissa Tancharoen, with Joss directing as his schedule permits. The series was already confirmed as being in the works and now we have our official confirmation on this highly anticipated series.
