Dear Alan Martin,
I started reading Tank Girl when I was fourteen. A friend of mine who shared my predilection for feminist-driven punk had pulled some of the Dark Horse reprints (along with several issues of Love and Rockets) from a garbage can behind a Pentecostal church down the street from her house.
