Stuck in production limbo for the past five-years, the big screen adaptation of Y: The Last man may finally come to fruition. Reports in March surfaced that writers Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia, formerly of the show Jericho, entered negotiations with New Line Cinema to take a crack at writing the screenplay. New Line is apparently quite pleased with the adaptation and has gone ahead and allowed for the producers attached to the film to find a director.
