With the release of the Joe Golem And The Drowning City Deluxe Hardcover yesterday, we had our resident book reviewer, Aki Solomos, take a look at Mike Mignola and Christopher Golem’s dystopian past novel to see if it’s really worth your time. He believes it definitely is. —

To be truthful, the first thing that came to mind was, “Ho hum, New York City underwater.  What else is new?”  Well, that “Ho hum” deteriorated with each passing page and chapter. As a New Yorker, I found it enthralling.
