Although they haven’t been apart for long, Dynamite Entertainment announced today that they are bringing Writer Mark Waid and Artist Paolo Rivera together to re-launch The Green Hornet.  Beginning in 2013, the publisher will be bringing us all new tales of Britt Reid and Kato in which Waid describes as “…a little bit Citizen Kane and a lot of Lawrence of Arabia to tell a story never before told – the dark years of the Hornet’s later career…”  Waid remarked that he has been “percolating” on this idea for nearly ten years and this project is sure to be a labour of love for him.
