But while Batwoman #18 sees regular artist (and co-writer) J.H. Williams III leaving the title in the capable hands of regular fill-in artist Trevor McCarthy (so Williams can focus on the Sandman prequel), he will stay on as co-writer with W. Haden Blackman – and, in an interview with CBR, he talks about what fans of the series can expect moving forward.

That’s right, 25 years after the first issue of his legendary run was published, he returns once more. Bringing along J.H Williams III’s art to tell this new tale.
