I am going to take this moment to acknowledge the fact that “Call Me Maybe” has been thoroughly parodied into the ground. HOWEVER, the following video from Wizard World Chicago, captures something very special.
If you had any intention on attending an Official Wizard World Comic Con, you’re in luck! They’ve officially released a new app for both the iOS and Android that is supposed to help fans navigate the Con: before, during and after. You can start using the app at the Wizard World Chicago Comic Con on August 9-12.
The new app has many cool features, including, but not limited to a map of the convention, the event schedule with the time, details and days of programming, VIP events or more.
You can love them, find them interesting, or even laugh at them, but there is one thing for sure; Fan Group Organizations make our con experience even better by bringing our favorite comics, movies, and games to life. They complement the things we enjoy and make them real for us. By getting to know the people involved in the Fan Groups we benefit by learning more about our interest and making new friends.
There’s no doubt that comic book conventions are fairly kid-friendly. Whenever I see children at a con, they’re always wide-eyed, in awe of the superheroes and cartoon characters milling about. Or they’re crying from happiness after taking a picture with Batman and Superman. However, some cons take their little fans very seriously. Wizard World Chicago Comic Con has designated Sunday, August 12th “Kids Day.”
